The Republican Party In Uwchlan

Republicans have controlled Chester County and Uwchlan township for many years and we are very proud of our record.

Uwchlan has not increased taxes in 25 years. The Chester County recently had a small tax increase. The increase was a result of a crashing stock market that hurt employee pensions. Your GOP County Officers worked hard to trim the budget where possible in order to keep the tax increase to a minimum.

The hard work by your GOP officers has paid dividends. Chester County is one of a handful of counties left in America that enjoys a AAA bond rating. This means the county can borrow money for new infrastructure projects at a lower rate.

Chester County is a great place to live. As the country struggles through an economic slump, the unemployment rate in Chester County remains relatively low. Because the county is financially strong, we are able to help many people in our down time. However, government can only do so much.

Let the record speak for itself. Chester County is a great place to live and much of that can be attributed to a government that is efficient and fiscally responsible.
